In the coming years, a stunning new campus wil emerge in Amsterdam Nieuw-West: the New West Health & Innovation District (Hid).
A knowledge hub with international allure
for everything related to hematology, immunology, oncology and transfusion medicine.
At the Hid, start-ups, scale-ups, other businesses and knowledge institutions work together on fundamental research, complex diagnostics and the development and production of medicines and vaccines. With more than 2,000 PhD students, biochemists, researchers, lab technicians, professors and other professional the Hid will become the place where a new generation of solutions for patients is developed.

Connecting people and ideas
At the Hid, state-of- the-art buildings and facilities for life sciences applications with laboratories, clean rooms and office spaces are available. Of course, we also offer excellent facilities to make life on campus as pleasant as possible. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are stimulated through the expansion with Sanquin Academy and an events agency.
